It Takes Two
Do you ever get the feeling that while playing an instrument, such as bass, that one hand isn't keeping up with the other? I've gotten this feeling before, and I understand how frustrating it can be. I believe that there's a reason for this happening that we should all take into account while practicing. When I started practicing bass, I focused mainly on my fretting hand because I watched videos of all my favorite players, completely mesmerized by their fretwork. However, over time I found that my melodic lines were sloppy, out of time and jumbled.
