How to Select an Audition Monologue
If you are an acting student who is looking for a good monologue for auditions, there are a couple of things you will want to consider. First, you should select a few different monologues. Consider finding one that is more classical or serious, and another that is more comedic or lighthearted. Popular classical or serious monologues include those written by Shakespeare, but consider avoiding the ones that tend to be overdone, like Hamlet.
